Thank you, 2011... LET'S GO, 2012!!!

2011.  

A year of trials, difficulties, happiness and blessings for me.  As I was reflecting about my life this year, a lot of good and bad things revolved around me.  But no matter what, I took it as a blessing and be thankful that it happened.  I had more heartaches for the first few months and as the time passes, I wanted to get closer to God and kept praying to be strong and asked for strength to carry on.  And yes, He has given me so much surprises in life as the months passed by.  I encountered new friends, discovered my love for dancing for street hip-hop and zumba, got two beautiful nieces that I totally love to be and to spend time with... and yes, my life has gotten better :)

These are the things that I am THANKFUL and BLESSED with:

30.

Turned 30 and single and ready to mingle.  Thankful that I got my family and friends who are there for me, loving me till the end.  I do miss being in love and having someone to be with but hey... time will come.  I know He will surprise me with better gift for me to CLAIM! :)

The Feast Alabang

May 01, 2011, I joined the Feast Alabang because of Anica.  Few months back, I was down and heart broken.  And she suggested me to join the feast where I could get closer to God once again.  This day was very memorable for me because God did surprise me that day and until now I could just smile remembering the first time I met someone in person... you know who you are ;)

My loving family...

Yes, most importantly, family comes first.  I am lucky and blessed that I got such a loving and supportive family who are always there for me.  Now Prince, you've been a good dad and a teacher.  I'm very proud of you.  Madelle, you are such a wonderful mom to Maia and Bella and soon.. Matteo :) Your family is awesome! :)  I'm lucky to be part of your family and I am truly blessed and happy! Thank you all.

Last but not least, mama and papa.  This year has been quite a rough year for me and thank you for being there always... for loving me all the way even though I'm so damn hard headed hahahaha :))) Love you both! With all my heart.  You've always been my best friend, my teacher, my lover, and my mentor.

Can't feel anything that touches my fingertips...
This cold feeling that brushes through my skin.
Felt like my whole system is shutting down.

My  mind's aching from thinking too much...
Such a heavy feeling.
Thoughts has been running around and around....
Until I feel so numbed and don't know what to think
but to gaze myself in space.... just... blank.

Hello there.

Yup I'm still up this late.  And I've been thinking a lot today despite the fact that I was sick earlier but now I'm absolutely well :)

Anyway, I know I screwed up with so many things in my life and I ended up getting hurt.  I never wanted that or even signed up for that kind of life.  So I made a checklist to myself:

- Love yourself -
You gotta love yourself before you love others.  If you don't, you'll forget yourself.

- Stop being too nice-
When I do, people would take advantage of me or they would use me. Nope, gotta be smart!

- Guard your heart -
Ok this is a tough cookie hahaha! Don't surrender too easily.

- Choose the right thing -
I always... ALWAYS ended up choosing the wrong thing and decision in my life and end up hurting myself.  But now, I gotta learn to choose the right thing and it's for the best.. even though it's gonna be painful but I believe that things will get better in the end.  It's tough, but I can do it.  I know that God will watch my back and guide me through ;)

- Enjoy life to the fullest -
Uh huh... that's right! *snap snap SNAP!!!!*

- Be strong and move on -
I know I can do this... it'll take time. Step by step.  Never back down again.

- Embrace the changes in your life -
Good or bad, gotta accept it and you will be a better person :)

- Love -
Seriously, I need to date again!  Let love find you... patience.. dearest Miyako... PATIENCE.. *claps her fists*... *uneasiness*..... *tapping her feet*... DOH!!!!! (>.<'')

I did encounter so many great things in my life this 2011 :) And I am blessed that they became part of my life.  Always be thankful. Remember, I love you all.

Day 8 in Kaohsiung - Last day for Prince and Bella Boo.

Today's the last day of stay in Taiwan for Prince and Bella boo. As usual, I woke up late in the afternoon and wanted to cook dumplings for lunch but my bro came up to me and had me taste the chicken burger he bought for breakfast.  He said it's better than McDo Mac Chicken. And he was right! :) After I gobbled the whole burger, I wanted something sweet so I decided to have a mango ice cream that my mom bought few days ago at the supermarket.

So we all went out to Grand Hai Lai Hotel and check out the JASON grocery but unfortunately... it was closed for renovation.. (-.-'').... Instead, we went to central Kaohsiung and decided to have a Chinese dinner but we looked almost every where. None. We ended up eating at WATAMI Japanese restaurant.  It's all good food and we're all happily full ;)

Day 7 - Kaohsiung: Shopping night.

It's another lazy afternoon and we stayed home the whole day.  Cooked gyoza for my late lunch and had sweet dumpling soup (sesame flavor) for dessert.

 Tonight, we decided to go for grocery at Dollars and have our dinner as well at their food choices.

My bro and I went to the Liouhe night market and I did my shopping (^^)v yayyyyy!!!

My bro ordered the milky ice shavings with mango toppings.

And my bro ordered oyster omelet that people would fall in line for it because of the huge servings at dirt cheap price.

I had the Turkish ice cream in milk flavor.  The Turkish guy spoke in Chinese with me and I'm like OHHHHHH~ :)

Day 6 in Kaohsiung - Surprise for Maia.

The past few days, my dad would bring out Maia for a walk and they would always pass by the shop that has parrots outside to attract customers and passers-by.  Maia got excited and she would talk to the parrot in Chinese like "NI HAO!" But she wouldn't dare to go near to the parrot since she's scared and she would ask Lolo Ell to carry her. When they got home, Maia would share her story about the parrot.

Maia: I see a parrot!
Ninang Miyako: Really? Wow! That's nice! What did the parrot say?
Maia: "NI HAO MA?!!!" :D

I forgot who asked Maia but it's either Lolo Ell or Daddy Prince who asked Maia how much the parrot costs. Maia replied "600!" Wow how cheap can that be to buy a trained parrot :)  It actually costs a fortune. So Daddy Prince said, "Ok Maia! Daddy will buy lovebirds...".  Maia still wanted a parrot :P

Today, Lolo Ell and Lola Kendi gave Maia a big surprise..... :)
