Day 5 in Kaohsiung - Malling. Shopping. Tonkatsu dinner! :9

We went to the mall today and I finally did some of my shopping... yayyy happiness! (^^)v  Even played with Maia at the children's arcade center.  We had Japanese tonkatsu for dinner and it was deliciously crispy from the outside and the meat is perfectly tender.  After dinner, they gave ice cream for dessert. I had green tea (my all time favorite flavor) and the others had mango ice cream.

What a good day!

To make the tonkatsu sauce more flavorful, we had to grind the sesame seeds to bring out the aroma and flavor.

Day 4 in Kaohsiung - Teppanyaki! (^^)

I slept the whole afternoon today and woke up past 3:00 PM. Damn I'm such a bear (o.0)... Stepped out of my room and had 飯糰 (fan tuan - sticky rice roll), soybean milk, and one piece of dumpling.  Usually it's taken for breakfast but I had it late :P

 We went out today and visited the dermatologist because of Bella. She previously had a fever because her throat got infected and now she had skin rashes. According to the dermatologist, when infants had fever, usually the skin rashes appear so there's nothing to worry about.

 After Bella's check up, we stayed at Family Mart convenient store and waited for Lolo Ell to pick us up.  And while waiting...

The biscuit has been my favorite childhood snack. And now Maia loved it. It literally melts in your mouth. I used to have these soaked in milk and it was soooo good ;)

 For dinner, we went to our dad's workplace in a restaurant bar and had teppanyaki.  Another fulfilling night ;)

Day 3 in Kaohsiung - BBQ night!

Woke up during lunch today and my dad and my bro went out and bought "bien tang" (Taiwanese lunch box meal) and I totally miss that! Even had my favorite pearl milk tea to go with it. YummmmmmY!

After our lunch, we decided to go for grocery and buy some stuffs for BBQ tonight (^^)

Unfortunately, the security guard called my mom and advised her that having BBQ outside of our place is not allowed simply because our neighbors might complain about the smell. Thanks, guard, you just wasted our energy for the preparation and you definitely killed our excitement. BOOHOO!


So.... we decided to take it inside and have our in house BBQ instead.

And it does look yummy!!!! :) I actually ate one of them ;)
